Prior to trading in the stock market of Sri Lanka as a first-time trader, investors (residents and non-residents of Sri Lanka) are required to initiate a Securities account in the Central Depository System (CDS) by completing an account initiation form which could be downloaded through our website.
Foreign retail and institutional investors are also required to open a Inward Investment Account (IIA) which allows investors to trade with ease. For registration forms you can call us directly or download the forms provided, here. We can provide assistance for any investor who wants to open an IIA with a local commercial bank.
Subsequent to completion of all documentation, we will guide you by appointing a dedicated investment advisor who will consult on the investment and trading process. We execute transaction orders on behalf of the client, however, the final decision to buy or sell is done at the sole discretion of the investor.
